VioAdmin here saying hello everyone, how are you all doing on this wonderful Monday afternoon? Check out some news relating to Dragon Ball Z Kai…

Almost three years later, Dragon Ball Kai is making it’s return to Japan! The April edition of V-Jump magazine revealed that Sunday, April 6 at 9:00 a.m. on Fuji TV, the “new age of Kai” will begin! That means, Toriko, when currently airs at p:00 a.m., will be replaced in that time slot to make it a Dragon Ball Z and One Piece which airs after Toriko.

Dragon Ball Z Kai (known simply as Dragon Ball Kai in Japan) re-creates the original Dragon Ball Z anime series with visuals remastered into HD quality, a better soundtrack, and  it follows Akira Toriyama’s original Dragon Ball manga closely. The series ran from 2009 to 2011 in Japan, covering the Saiyan Saga to Cell Saga.

The Japanese cast recorded the Buu Saga episodes waaay back in November 2012, a few months after the series’ ended in Japan.

English dub voice actors for Goku (Sean Schemmel) and Gohan (Kyle Hebert) reported in April of 2013 they were recording for the Buu Saga of Dragon Ball Z Kai, so perhaps it will arrive on American TV some time around June 2014.

Australian anime distributor Madman Entertainment also mentioned last November they were looking to release it in 2014 after dubbing was complete.
